World’s Rarest Gorillas Spotted on Trail Cam (With Babies!)


Based on the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), cross river gorillas, a subspecies of the western gorilla, are the world’s rarest gorilla species. WCS says there are solely about 300 of them left within the wild, and people very rarely see them. That’s why current trail-cam footage of a complete troop of cross river gorillas, together with a number of infants, is so thrilling.

Cross path gorillas reside alongside the Nigeria-Cameroon border in Africa. Traditionally, scientists have a tough time finding out them, particularly till the previous decade or so.
