An enormous baleen whale capsized a 23-foot-long fishing boat this morning with two males onboard, and the video goes viral. The incident occurred off the coast of New Hampshire, and reports suggest the 2 males weren’t injured.
Native information outlet Portsmouth Herald provides details on what occurred. The fishermen on the capsized vessel have been Greg Paquette and Ryland Kenney. The younger man recording the video, 16-year-old Colin Yager was aboard the boat that reached the Paquette and Kenney first.
Yager and his older brother Wyatt, 19, have been fishing within the early-morning hours of Tuesday morning once they noticed a whale. Portsmouth Herald studies that about an hour later, that whale slammed into Paquette and Kenney’s fishing boat. The affect threw them overboard and sank the vessel.
Fortunately, the Yagers have been there and keen to assist.
Within the viral video taken from the Yagers’ viewpoint, you’ll be able to see the whale breech (leap from the water) and land on the again of a ship. Wyatt Yager then begins turning his boat round earlier than Colin Yager’s video cuts off.
The Portsmouth Herald studies that the whales’ victims have been within the water for lower than two minutes earlier than the Yager brothers pulled them to security. The Yagers say quite a few different boats had come across the assist; they only occurred to get there first.
